Competition design for the new building of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. The design combines a strictly rational and functional solution for the internal layout of the building with romanticizing elements on the facade. The brickwork graphics create impressive shadow plays throughout the day. Warm tones of the surface materials evoke feelings associated with home and creating a cozy atmosphere within the school environment. Who wouldn't want to study again?
